Raja Sekhar Thatavarti

Co-Founder


Raj founded EviGenuity in 2025 and brings 20+ years of experience in the knowledge management consulting to Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies in the drug discovery and development domain. Over the years, he led the product development of clinical outcomes databases which serve as a repository to transform the wealth of knowledge via quantitative approaches (model based meta-analysis) for efficient drug development by informed decision making. Raj led the development of over 100+ indication databases covering wide range of disease areas including oncology, CV & metabolic, auto-immune, neuroscience, pain & inflammation, vaccine research and others.

Raj has a Masters in Pharmacology from Kakatiya University, India and is a certified computational chemist (Accelrys Certified program). His enthusiasm to quantitative sciences made him pursue Certificate program in Pharmacometrics from University of North Texas Health Sciences Centre at Fort Worth.

As part of his journey at Certara (7 years, till 2025) and Excelra (erstwhile GVK Bio, 15+ years, till 2018), Raj has held leadership positions in establishing and growing the Data-Sciences business vertical. He was pivotal in leading the business strategy and established long-term clients. He did successfully set up business operations and scaled to large teams.

Raj is an avid reader, enjoys travelling to spiritual destinations across India and is a passionate cook.

Neelima Kankanampati

Co-Founder & Director


Neelima is Co-Founder of EviGenuity (2025) and has over 23 years of experience in the information sciences providing expert consulting to Pharma and Biotech companies in the clinical and healthcare domain. She specializes in transforming complex clinical and scientific data into structured evidence that supports quantitative drug development for informed decision-making. Prior to co-founding EviGenuity, Neelima held leadership roles at Certara and Excelra (previously GVK Bio), where she played a key role in building strategic client relationships.

Over the course of her career, Neelima has led the development of 100+ indication-specific clinical outcomes databases. Her expertise includes systematic literature reviews, evidence synthesis, and building model-ready datasets across several therapeutic areas like immunology, oncology, cardiovascular, metabolic, and neuroscience

Neelima holds a double Masters, with one in Pharmacology from Kakatiya University, India and other in Business administration from Sikkim Manipal University, India. Her passion to learn contemporary skills made her pursue Certificate programs in Pharmacometrics (2023, University of North Texas Health Sciences Centre, Dallas, Fort Worth) and Computational chemistry (Accelrys, 2002).

Outside of her work, Neelima spends quality time travelling with family to scenic destinations across India. She is a traditional dancer (Kuchipudi/Bharatanatyam), and loves exploring multi-cuisine in her kitchen.
